Additionally, we also use various networks to cooperate with other specialists and clinics, and perform own research projects in cooperation with our industrial partners at our associated Institute for International Ophthalmosurgery (I.I.O.).
We are a founding member of the research network of the eye clinic at the UniversitätsKlinikum Heidelberg IVCRC.net. Our close co-operation with Prof. Dr. Auffarth, the medical director of the eye clinic at the UniversitätsKlinikum Heidelberg, has become a true partnership over time. Another research partner of us is Prof. Schaeffel of the Institute of the Eye at the Universität Tübingen. In order to perform studies and retrospective investigations, we have established our research institute for international innovative ophthalmological surgery (IIO).
