Together with Dr. Kaymak and Dr. Klabe, Dr. Breyer is leading our research institution for international innovative ophthalmologic surgery (I.I.O.). In addition, he is one of 5 specialists of the official study group chairing the ICL congress and is giving lectures as a member of the teaching facility of German, European and American eye surgeons (DOC, ESCRS, SOE, ASCRS, APAO, AECOS, ISRS, ISOP, AAO, WOC) at international congresses all over the world. Dr. Breyer is a Trainer of the joint Kommission für Refraktive Chirurgie, the commission for refractive surgery, (KRC) of the Berufsverband der Augenärzte Deutschland e.V. (BVA), the German professional association of ophthalmologists, and the Deutsche Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft, the German ophthalmologic society, and is also included in the KRC's user list.
